‘[MotherSchools] creates really a respect, also for the children: they’re like, “Oh, my Mama is going to school for me”‘.

This feature of Nassira, a student who assumed the role of MotherSchools Notetaker for the Vilvoorde Group in Blegium, takes the viewer through the perspective of a unique observer who not only witnessed the changes in the mothers throughout the course of the programme, but who also grew up with classmates who left for Syria.
