‘We never had a project like this or anywhere else here in Belgium; the word school was a missing word in this community’.

This film feature of Saida, one of Vilvoorde’s two MotherSchools Teachers, takes the viewer through her impression of how Women without Borders’ Parenting for Peace programme has addressed a number of everyday issues that mothers and children in Vilvoorde face. We learn how Saida views WwB’s MotherSchools as an effective solution both to preventing and countering violent extremism (P/CVE), and to addressing many of the broader contributing factors that have led to the spread of extremism in her community.
