Women without Borders (WwB) Founder and Executive Director Dr. Edit Schlaffer participates as a civil society representative and expert panellist on the role of women in preventing violent extremism (PVE) as part of the three-day ‘White House Summit on Countering Violent Extremism (CVE)’ in Washington, D.C. The summit brings together local, federal, and international leaders – including President Obama and foreign ministers – to discuss concrete steps the United States and its partners can take to develop community-oriented PVE approaches.
