WwB’s Founder & Chair Edit Schlaffer traveled to Abu Dhabi to speak at the Global Summit for Women 2023 from 21-22 February, which brought together high-level women leaders from 100 countries around the world. Dr. Schlaffer sat on the panel “Gender Balancing During Transformations” with government representatives from Indonesia and Yemen, a session that focused on the power women hold in being agents of change in the face of crisis and transition within their countries and communities. Highlighting the work of WwB and its Parenting for Peace model, Schlaffer emphasised the importance of including women in peace-building efforts across the globe.
