From 2017 to 2019, Women without Borders, together with the four Lower Franconian partners, implemented our violence prevention project MotherSchools: Parenting for Peace.

A total of 200 mothers were trained and sensitised to counter extremism and act as important female allies against radicalisation. This short film was created in May 2019 and shows project leaders and teachers talking about their takeaways from the MotherSchools.

Thank you to our partners in Lower Franconia: Cigdem Deniz / Migranten für Migranten, Aschaffenburg; Nilüfer Ulusoy / Frauen für Frauen, Erlenbach am Main; Ingeborg Düpmert and Sorya Lippert / Verein Interkult, Schweinfurt; Heike Mix / City of Würzburg.

This project was funded by the Bavarian State Ministry of Family, Labour and Social Affairs
