Gender, Religion and Countering Violent Extremism

Women without Borders (WwB) attends the M.A. Program in Conflict Resolution at Georgetown University’s ‘Gender, Religion, and Countering Violent Extremism’ conference in Washington, D.C. The conference focuses on how societies can effectively work with faith-based actors and credible female voices to address the often overlooked gendered dynamics of radicalisation and underlying drivers of violent extremism. The event brings together civil society actors, policy makers, and academics to exchange ideas, identify challenges, and explore new approaches to preventing violent extremism (PVE).
