Bread, Work, Freedom for Afghanistan; Woman, Life, Freedom for Iran!

This Open House Talk brings together Manizha Bakhtari, Ambassador of Afghanistan to Austria, and Shoura Hashemi, an Iranian-born Austrian diplomat and feminist activist. Moderated by Dr. Jaleh Lackner-Gohari, the engaging and pointed discussion explores the urgent situations in Afghanistan and Iran – the striking roll-back of women’s rights and human rights in both countries – and the need to listen and stand with them. Their fight is also our fight for women’s rights.
