Seventh International Countering Violent Extremism (CVE) Research Conference 2022

Women without Borders (WwB) delivers remarks on the ‘The Hidden Gendered Drivers of CVE: Recent Lessons Learned on Impact from the MotherSchools Programme’ to promote the inclusion of women and consideration of gender factors in preventing and countering violent extremism (P/CVE) efforts at the Hedayah International CVE Research Conference 2022 in Granada, Spain. The conference aims to deepen understanding of on-the-ground efforts to tackle violent extremism, and includes thematic sessions focusing on drivers of radicalisation – factors that contribute to and protect against – violent extremism, the implications of COVID-19, P/CVE initiatives, and current and future challenges.
