Women without Borders (WwB) Founder and Executive Director Dr. Edit Schlaffer presents the ‘MotherSchools: Parenting for Peace’ Model in a speech entitled ‘Preventing and Detecting Homegrown Terrorism – The Role of Families and Communities’ at the Global Counterterrorism Forum’s ‘Initiative on Addressing Homegrown Terrorism’ launch in Malta. The event brings government officials, academics, criminal justice practitioners and non-governmental representatives from 25 countries together to share experiences and lessons learned in preventing violent extremism (PVE).
