Women without Borders (WwB) Founder and Executive Director Dr. Edit Schlaffer delivers the keynote address and presents the ‘MotherSchools: Parenting for Peace’ Model at the European Commission’s Radicalisation Awareness Network (RAN)’s Working Group (WG) on Internal and External Factors’ (INT/EXT) conference ‘Foreign Fighters: Working with Individuals, Families, and Communities Before, During and After Travel’ in Antwerp. It brings together experts from European Union Member States to establish a baseline estimate of levels of foreign fighters, and to discuss the lessons Member States have learned in their responses to violent extremism.
