The 2008 Mumbai attacks left 168 people dead after a 64-hour siege. One of the victims was the police officer Ashok Kamte. His wife Vinita has since dedicated her life to finding out the truth about her husband’s death and making her city and country a safer place through accountability, understanding, and reaching out to the other side.

This documentary—part of Women without Borders’ (WwB) Sisters Against Violence Extremism (SAVE) network of projects—traces how the Mumbai attacks affected Vinita’s life and records her subsequent efforts to create a safer world.
