Enhancing Women’s Participation in Electoral Processes in Post-conflict Countries

Women without Borders (WwB) Founder and Executive Director Dr. Edit Schlaffer participates in the Office of the Special Advisor on Gender Issues and Advancement of Women in the Department of Economic and Social Affairs (OSAGI DESA) expert group meeting on ‘Enhancing women’s participation in electoral processes in post-conflict countries’ at the Harrison Conference Center in Glen Cove, NY. The group discusses electoral processes in post-conflict countries and the obstacles, lessons learned, and good practices in enhancing women’s participation in these processes.
