Women without Borders (WwB) Founder and Executive Director Dr. Edit Schlaffer takes part in the ‘Women Preventing Violent Extremism: Charting a New Course’ symposium on International Women’s Day at the United States Institute of Peace in Washington, D.C. Together with MotherSchools leaders from Nigeria, Indonesisa, and India, Dr. Schlaffer presents the pioneering ‘MotherSchools: Parenting for Peace’ Model and the role women and greater civil society must play in preventing violent extremism (PVE).
