‘Women in Leadership: The Role and Impact of Responsible Social Media’

Women without Borders (WwB) Founder and Executive Director Dr. Edit Schlaffer participates in a panel discussion entitled ‘Women in Leadership: The Role and Impact of Responsible Social Media’ at the Tweeps Forum 2017 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The event brings together more than 1000 young social media users from Saudi Arabia and the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) as well as experts, prominent decision-makers, business people, government officials, leading academics, and young people. The Tweeps Goals are to promote the production and dissemination of content-based knowledge using social media, to bridge the cultural and religious connections between Saudi Arabia and the world, to promote a culture of creativity and innovation among young people and governments for a bright future, and to spotlight the role of women in changing societies.
