The Mainstreaming of Extremism: Hate Crimes and Hate Incidents

Women without Borders (WwB) Founder and Executive Director Dr. Edit Schlaffer participates in a panel of leading global experts on hate crimes and educational interventions targeting anti-migrant, Islamophobic, anti-Semitic, and racist violence at the American University Fall 2017 School of Education Global Education Forum (GEF). The event aims to illuminate what role educational institutions – including schools, museums, research institutions, think thanks, foundations and more – can do to combat hate incidents, and promote tolerance and respectful coexistence across diverse communities.
