Women without Borders (WwB) Founder and Executive Director Dr. Edit Schlaffer discusses the need for civil society engagement and the role mothers can play in preventing violent extremism (PVE) at the Observer Research Foundation’s (ORF) ‘Tackling Insurgent Ideologies’ conference in New Delhi. The event convenes researchers and practitioners to examine state and civil society PVE approaches from countries such as Indonesia, the Philippines, Bangladesh, Afghanistan, the UAE, and the USA, among others.
