On 5 June 2022, another MotherSchools India cohort graduated, with 100 mothers celebrating their achievements and dedication to safeguarding the next generation and building a safer global community for all of us. The class of 2022 represents the second round of MotherSchools India within a multi-country project supported by the L’Oréal Fund for Women. Working with our local partner, Fourth Wave Foundation, this iteration took place in Kerala with five groups meeting in Chellanam, Angamaly, and Koratty. Each of the graduates completed approximately 40 hours of training in PVE (preventing violent extremism), childhood development, security, peacebuilding, and communications.

We salute you in your efforts to build peace at home, to raise strong and self-confident children. Your voice matters, inside and outside your home, so make yourself heard! The thought: ‘I am just a mother’ will never cross your mind again. You know that motherhood is your strength.”
– Dr. Edit Schlaffer, Founder & Chair of Women without Borders, on the occasion of the MotherSchools India 2022 Graduation
