Human Rights and Prevention of Violent Extremism

Women without Borders (WwB) Founder and Executive Director Dr. Edit Schlaffer serves as moderator for the working group ‘Violent Extremism and Women’ at the 18th Informal ASEM Seminar on Human Rights in Yogyakarta, Indonesia. The seminar addresses the links between the prevention of violent extremism and human rights within the ASEM framework and aims to develop recommendations to protect and strengthen human rights while combatiing violent extremism.
