EDB Contemporary | Venice event

Women without Borders is honoured to collaborate and partner with Elisabeth de Brabant Contemporary, a new art and cultural platform and art viewing space for exchange and dialogue.

Coinciding with the opening of the Venice Biennale, 17 April 2024 marked the launch of our cooperation with the view to create a space where solidarity, creativity, and activism converge, fostering a community committed to advancing human and women’s rights. Just as art uses various mediums to tell a story, convey messages or evoke emotions, we at WwB employ diverse strategies to advocate for women’s rights.

Starting in April 2024, the work of three talented artists is on view at EDB Contemporary: Géraldine Cario, Inès Valentinitsch, and Farbod Ahmadvand. We celebrate our collective ability to transcend boundaries, challenging societal norms and inspiring individuals to envision a more equitable world.

A very special thank you to Elisabeth de Brabant the Founder and Curator of EDB Contemporary for so generously opening her doors, and to Anna Shpilko, Curator and Program Director at EDB Contemporary.
