2014 Women in the World Summit

Women without Borders (WwB) Founder and Executive Director Dr. Edit Schlaffer presents the ‘MotherSchools: Parenting for Peace’ Model at the 2014 Women in the World Summit in New York´s Lincoln Theatre. Vicky Ibrahim, whose son Andrew was arrested in 2009 for building explosives in preparation for extremist violence, joins Dr. Schlaffer on the stage to share her journey from the realisation that her son had been radicalised to finding the confidence to speak out about her experience as a message to all mothers.
