‘Beyond Grief’ is a short film featuring brave women affected by violent extremism who decided to courageously put their political and religious differences aside and to stand up and join forces in an effort fight for a better, more peaceful world. Together, these women from different backgrounds have become inspiring agents of peace and positive change.

A Pakistani mother who lost her husband murdered in the Swat Valley, is shown where an Indian mother lost her husband, shot by terrorists in Mumbai. Courageous women who put political and religious prejudices aside, put their safety at risk to speak out against violent extremism.
