‘Prevention and Intervention Workshop: Initiative to Address Homegrown Terrorism’

Women without Borders (WwB) participates in the International Institute for Justice and the Rule of Law’s ‘Initiative to Address Homegrown Terrorism’ workshop in Malta. The conference aims to examine systemic gaps in how communities and governments can work together to prevent and intervene at home before violent extremist ideologies can take root. The IIJ event brings together policy-makers, civil society leaders, and law enforcement officials to discuss themes such as bridging gaps between researchers and practitioners, supporting and developing effective intervention programs, minimising opportunities for online recruitment, and ensuring effective communication and support between law enforcement agencies and communities.
