‘Innovations in Civil Society and other Locally-Led Efforts to Prevent Violent Extremism’

Women without Borders (WwB) participates in the Global Center’s ‘Innovations in Civil Society and other Locally-Led Efforts to Prevent Violent Extremism and Build Social Cohesion and Resilience’ civil society event on the margins of the 72nd UN General Assembly. The event brings dozens of civil society practitioners – many at the helm of women and youth-centric organisations – from around the globe together with representatives from national and local authorities and multilateral institutions, to highlight their unique contributions to preventing violent extremism (PVE), and to promoting peace, equality, and pluralism based on a “whole of society” approach.
