Women without Borders (WwB) speaks about the process of turning victimhood into agency by breaking the silence around radicalisation in communities and preventing violent extremism (PVE) at the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime’s (UNODC) International Conference on Preventing Terrorism through Counter Radicalisation and Violent Extremism in Europe’ in Budapest, Hungary. The conferences aims to take stock of the current European challenges and approaches to PVE, and to look forward with a specific focus on the use of the internet in extremist recruitment.
