On 14 July 2022, another MotherSchools Kosovo cohort graduated, with 38 mothers celebrating their achievements and dedication to safeguarding their families and communities from violence and toxic ideologies. The class of 2022 represents the second round of MotherSchools Kosovo within a multi-country project supported by the L’Oréal Fund for Women. Working with our local partner, Jahjaga Foundation, this iteration took place in Klina with two groups meeting each week. Each of the graduates completed approximately 40 hours of training in PVE (preventing violent extremism), childhood development, security, peacebuilding, and communications.

Look where you have arrived! You are listening to your own voice, daring to speak up and speak out. Today, we come face to face with brave women who want to be role models and leaders in their homes and communities. Please continue to talk, meet up, build networks day by day. And never forget that you are not alone.”
– Laura Kropiunigg, Executive Director of Women without Borders, on the occasion of the MotherSchools Kosovo 2022 Graduation
